E-learning

• E-learning (or eLearning) is the use of electronic media, educational technology and information and communication technologies (ICT) in education.
• For example, the lecturers upload all the notes to the E-learning. At the same time, the students can also download the notes from E-learning.

• A projector or image projector is an optical device that projects an image (or moving images) onto a surface, commonly a projection screen.

• For example, the lecturers show their slide using projector in their class.

Printer

• In computing, a printer is a peripheral which makes a persistent human-readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media.
• For example, the students print out the notes after they download it from E-learning.



Government

Blog

• The government staff create blogs to enable officials to make their case and let citizens respond.
• Other than that,Blogs are a good vehicle to raise issues that need more definition than services like Facebook can easily provide.   
• The government use Blog to update their latest announcement.

Applications for mobile devices

• A smart phone application that would let citizens more easily report public works-related problems, with the smart phone technology providing for a more precise location of the problem. 
• For example, SaveME999 is a application that designed for Malaysians with speech-impaired, hearing-impaired or both ONLY.

• For this group of people, SaveME 999 serves as a tool for them to call for emergency assistance via non-voice communication. SaveME 999 application utilizes the internet broadband to transmit the next messages. In addition, it also uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) in smart phones to identify the location of the user.  
• So, those Orang Kurang Upaya will use this apps when they are in emergency.

• So,those company do business planning, performance management, and financial reporting benefit from a more collaborative way of working using Cloud computing.

• The information technology that runs social media on the Internet provides financial institutions with valuable information on their customers.
• The users like to use Social Media to do investment,business & etc.

• For example, websites such as TradeKing allow online stock traders to discuss their picks and advise newcomers.

 

Big Data

• Big data is an all-encompassing term for any collection of data sets so large and complex that it becomes difficult to process using traditional data processing applications.
• The company use Big Data to  find the proverbial needle in the data haystack. After all, those companies have the time or the analytics expertise to apply statistics and complex data modeling to regular or even daily business decisions and operations.

·         A POS system is a computer software and hardware network that records sales as they're occurring; it solves a variety of operational and record-keeping headaches.

·         They use this system to target market and send promotions to customer based on purchasing history or other specific customer preferences. 

·         Other than that, they use POS  to preview, search and print daily sales reports and journals by register, batch, and receipt number.

• A vending machine is a machine which dispenses items such as snacks, beverages, alcohol, cigarettes, lottery tickets, cologne, consumer products, and even gold and gems to customers automatically, after the customer inserts currency or credit into the machine.
• Usually they locate this machine at a place that have high traffic flow or a working place.
• For example, LRT station,bus stop,hotel lobby ,office and etc.

• Agoda.com is an accommodation booking sites, offers its service in 38 languages. Its inventory includes various types of accommodations, from hotels and b&bs to beach resorts, rest houses and homestays.
• They promote the facilities and benefits of their hotel using this website. 
• Moreover, they update their latest promotion on Agoda.com.

Speaker

• Speaker is an electromechanical device which produces sound.
• People nowadays need speaker to play a song or watch a movie.
• For example, the cinema,club & pub need speaker to operate their business.

Youtube

YouTube is a video-sharing website.

• Most of the content on YouTube has been uploaded by individuals, but media corporations including CBS, the BBC, Vevo, Hulu, and other organizations offer some of their material via YouTube, as part of the YouTube partnership program.
• People nowadays go youtube to watch the latest official movie trailer, music video or some video clips.

Role-playing game

• A role-playing game (RPG) is a game in which players assume the roles of characters in a fictional setting.
• Players take responsibility for acting out these roles within a narrative, either through literal acting or through a process of structured decision-making or character development.
• The teenagers like to play RPG game together with friends in their house or ciber cafe.
• For example, they play DOTA , DOTA 2 and etc.

• The users also have the ability to set daily and weekly goals for themselves for steps, calories burned and consumed, and distance walked.

• A patient or caregiver can create and send an alert or general emergency notification to first responders.
• For instance, when a user is not feeling well in the toilet, the user can call for the ambulance or ask for help using mobile apps.

• Moreover, a users will be provided a recommendation for the type of health care facility most appropriate to their needs.

Telemedicine

• Telemedicine is the use of medical information exchanged from one site to another via electronic communications to improve a patient’s clinical health status.
• The consumers obtain specialized health information and on-line discussion groups to provide peer-to-peer support.
• Other than that, the patients can have the medical services without the need to travel long distance.
• For example, the doctor diagnose the patient's illness and answer their problem using telemedicine while the patient is traveling at the Australia.

Google Maps is a desktop and mobile web mapping service application and technology provided by Google, offering satellite imagery, street maps, and Street View perspectives, as well as functions such as a route planner for traveling by foot, car, bicycle, or with public transportation.

• The travelers use Google Maps when they feel lost in somewhere they are not familiar.
• Next, they plan their trip using Google Maps. For instance, they can estimate the time when they are traveling by public transport ,  car or by foot.

A microscope is an instrument used to see objects that are too small for the naked eye.

3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file.

• First,they make a virtual design of the object they want to create, Then,they prepare the digital file created in a 3D modeling program for printing.

The production line will use this machine to fill and pack carbonated drink in both PET and glass bottles.
